Upon returning to the United States in 2005, after a two year trip to New Zealand, Bidcorral.com LLP co-founder C.D. Heard approached three family members about forming a partnership, and layed out a plan to launch an online auction company, with a different objective than the competition. The company mission is to "Offer a full featured service at discounted rates, and basic listings that have no up front fees." "People are in the market to make money, not lose it. No up front fees for basic listings, means there is no risk for our members."

February 17th of 2006 the online auction site Bidcorral.com went live. With a "think outside of the box" business strategy, the eCommerce service has seen a steady growth rate, and a solid member community that reaches internationally. Interest has been shown from such countries as the United Kindom, Sweden, Germany, Australia, Japan, China, and more areas from around the globe, with the United States being the largest source of registered members.

Numerous new services have been added since the grand opening of it's main auction site in 2006 in order to meet the latest market demands. The latest of which was Bidcorral Free Local Classifieds, that had it's grand opening in June of 2008.

Since the initial launch the company continues to expand its services to meet many needs. The addition of specialty auction sites, classifeds and community services such as blogs, and global chat rooms offer members more opportunities to succeed.
